Rover Metro 1.4 Diesel Project (3)

22nd August. The O/S/Rear Quarter Panel arrived today, see below pics. I am now just waiting for the N/S/Rear Quarter Panel and N/S full Sill to arrive, then I should have all the panels needed to rebuild the old Metro. I am not able to start restoring the Metro for a little while yet due to other work commitments. as soon as there are any other developments with the Metro Project.

19th November 2002. Well after ordering the rear quarter and sill panels in mid august the long awaited N/S rear quarter and N/S full sill arrived 10th October. I now should have all the panels to restore the bodyshell. I have not got around to taking photo's of these two panels

So far so good, I am very pleased with the amount of new body panels I have managed to buy with for the money, the panels are very cheap. I am well within the budget at this stage which has enabled me to replace more panels than first thought I could budget for.

5th February 2003. Managed to get hold of a set of GTa Alloys a short while ago off a scrap car, not in the best condition, I'm looking for a GTi body kit as well.

18th March 2003. Got hold of a very good set of 5 GTa wheels from another scrap GTa. 

21st August 2003. Nothing to report on the Metro at present time

9th November 2003. The Metro has now got a new owner, Due to moving house I was unable to keep the Metro, so a good friend of mine has had the car off me.
